Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. Company details
These terms apply to all offers, agreements and sales by Studio One Line Artworks (One Line Artworks), a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) of Meltem Yarangümeli, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 85437778. VAT number: NL004093836B29. Email: info@onelineartworks.com.
Correspondence address: Lambertushof 60, 5667 SG Geldrop, the Netherlands. This is a correspondence address only, not a visiting address. The studio is not open to visitors and there is no shop. Please do not send anything to this address without contacting me first.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to every offer, proposal, agreement and order between you and One Line Artworks, unless we agreed otherwise in writing. By placing an order, accepting a proposal or buying a ticket you accept these terms. Deviating terms of the other party do not apply.
3. Offers and agreements
For live illustration and commissions you receive a personal proposal by email. An agreement is made once you have confirmed the proposal in writing, for example by email. The proposal states what is included, the date, the place, the price and any specific conditions. Offers are valid for 14 days unless the proposal says otherwise. In the webshop, an agreement is made when your order is confirmed.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before you pay. Webshop orders and tickets are paid at checkout. For proposals and invoices, the payment terms in the proposal or invoice apply; if none is stated, invoices must be paid within 14 days.
5. Live illustration and guest illustrations
Booking. A booking is confirmed once you have accepted my proposal in writing and, if the proposal asks for it, have paid the deposit. From that moment the date is reserved for you. Until then the date stays available to others.
What is agreed. The proposal states the date, location, start and end time, the type of illustration (guest illustrations, live event artwork or both), how the work is delivered and the fee. Anything not in the proposal is not included. Extra time or extra work is possible by agreement and may be charged.
Guest illustrations. Each illustration shows up to two people and is drawn by hand from a quick reference photo taken at the event, so guests do not have to sit still. The number of illustrations I can draw depends on the time booked and is stated in the proposal. Each illustration is a personal, hand-drawn interpretation, not a photographic likeness.
Live event artwork. This is one larger original artwork of the setting or a moment, created during the event. It is an artistic interpretation; I choose the subject and composition, with your wishes in mind.
Your part. You make sure that I have a suitable place to work and the agreed facilities: a table and chair, enough light and access at the agreed time. For outdoor events I need a covered, sheltered spot. If conditions make drawing impossible, we look for a solution together; the agreed fee remains due for the time reserved.
Travel and costs. Travel costs, accommodation abroad and parking, if any, are stated in the proposal.
Payment. A deposit may be asked to confirm the date. The amount, the balance and the due dates are stated in the proposal. Unless the proposal says otherwise, the invoice must be paid before the event.
Delivery. Guest illustrations are handed over as agreed, usually collected later once they are finished. The live event artwork is yours to keep or frame after the event, unless we agreed otherwise.
Changing or cancelling. Moving the date is possible by agreement, subject to my availability. Cancellation must be made in writing. Unless the proposal says otherwise, the deposit is not refunded, and if you cancel 30 days or less before the event the full agreed fee is due. If I can use the freed date for another booking, I will take that into account.
Illness and force majeure. If I cannot perform because of illness or another circumstance beyond my control, I will propose a new date, or refund any amount already paid for the part not performed.
Photos and use. Reference photos are taken only to draw the illustrations and are not published without permission. I may photograph or film my work, the setup and the result for my portfolio and social media. I do not show guests' faces without their consent. If you would rather I did not share anything, tell me before the event.
No right of withdrawal. Live illustration is a service on a specific date, so the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once the booking is confirmed.
6. Commissions and copyright
The copyright of every illustration stays with the maker, Meltem Yarangümeli. The way you may use the artwork (for example in print, online or in a campaign), for how long and where, is agreed in the proposal. Without a written agreement, use is limited to personal, non-commercial use. I may show the work in my portfolio and on social media unless we agreed otherwise in writing before the work starts. Commissions and work made to your specifications cannot be returned or withdrawn from once I have started.
7. Coloring Café tickets
A ticket is for a specific edition on a specific date and is non-refundable. As the activity takes place on a specific date, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to tickets. If you cannot attend, you may pass your ticket on to another person; please email me beforehand with the name of the new attendee. Public editions are for women only. If I cancel or reschedule an edition, you receive a full refund or a ticket for the new date. Prices and what is included are stated on the ticket page.
8. Original artworks and webshop orders
Original artworks are one of a kind. Colours may differ slightly between screens and the real artwork. For an original artwork that already exists and is bought from the webshop, you may withdraw as a consumer within 14 days after receiving it, as explained on the Shipping & Returns page. For everything else, including commissions, personalised work, live illustration, digital files that are delivered immediately and Coloring Café tickets, the right of withdrawal does not apply; the Shipping & Returns page explains this per subject. Books are sold through Amazon and are subject to Amazon's terms.
9. Delivery
I deliver within the time stated on the product page or at checkout, and in any case within 30 days after your order. Delivery details, shipping costs and risk in transit are described on the Shipping & Returns page.
10. Conformity and warranty
Products and services conform to what was agreed and to what you may reasonably expect. If something is not right, please email me within a reasonable time after you notice it, with photos where relevant, and we will find a solution. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
11. Liability
I take great care in my work. My liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order or proposal, except in case of intent or gross negligence, and except where the law says otherwise. I am not liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Force majeure
If I cannot meet my obligations because of a circumstance beyond my control, such as illness, accident, severe weather, travel disruption or government measures, I may suspend or cancel the agreement. I will inform you as soon as possible and refund any amount paid for what was not delivered.
13. Complaints
Please send complaints to info@onelineartworks.com. I confirm receipt within 5 working days and aim to respond with a solution within 14 days.
14. Privacy
How I handle personal data is described in the Privacy Statement.
15. Governing law
Dutch law applies. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers to bring a dispute before the court of their own country.
